Digital Production Assistant

InternetRetailing is looking for a Digital Production Assistant to take complete ownership of the content, functionality and relevance of the website. Sitting at the heart of ecommerce analysis, conversations and trends, the InternetRetailing website and digital products inspire, inform and engage senior decision makers across the industry. We are therefore keen to welcome to the team someone who takes complete ownership and pride in their work.

You will be given autonomy in your role if you demonstrate that you are literate, have loads of common sense and a logical approach, with a problem-solving attitude. Your experience should already include SEO and modern web-content management, being tech savvy and a seasoned user of HTML and web tools.

 

Depending on experience, the role can be based at our London office on Cannon Street, working standard office hours, but we will also consider candidates applying to work part-time or flexible hours. Salary expectations to be discussed during the application process.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Upload, update, edit, maintain and optimise content, graphics and functionality on the InternetRetailing website.
  • Rephrase copy, review layout optimize links and use common sense to ensure the website is constantly fresh, updated and logical, paying attention to the look and feel of the brand.
  • Effective use of the CRM (Affino) for the effective management of all things digital.
  • Brief the Graphic Designer in respect of the creative assets in a campaign.
  • Assist the Research team with new digital initiatives and products.
  • Consider tasks in a wider context to pre-empt issues and fix problems before they crop up.
  • Build effective relationships across the InternetRetailing teams to ensure a joined-up approach to content strategy.

  • Attention to detail – handle tasks with thoroughness, accuracy in reporting and excellent proof-reading skills. Recognise and resolve errors.
