Internet Retailing Media Services (IMRS) is B2B professional media business with titles focused on the multichannel retail sector. We produce high quality editorial and research content that delivers news, analysis, insight and performance tracking of the TOP 500 retailers for the UK and Europe. We are looking for an experienced membership marketing person who excels in growing a professional audience with ruthless focus on acquisition and retention and servicing the needs of a demanding membership audience. Our professional titles include InternetRetailing, eDelivery, RetailX and Tamebay. Each product is a market-leader in the segments of the fast-growing sector of ecommerce and multichannel retail. The titles include a portfolio consisting of Digital, Events and print products which are highly valued by multi-channel retailers and the companies that supply them.
The role is Membership focused and your primary goal is to grow both freemium and paid membership audiences. This will require a confident and organised membership marketing professional, experienced in growing and managing multiple professional audiences effectively. We believe a centralised process is beneficial but each of our brands has its own flavour and requirements and this requires adaptability. You’ll need to approach the role with flair and demonstrate a real passion for our brands and the sector.
You’ll need to work autonomously and will be expected to report effectively to the managing director and the rest of the board when required. As a small agile growing media business, we have a flat structure and we work in a peer leadership environment. We support each other and work collaboratively to achieve our commercial objectives by taking full ownership of our individual and collective responsibilities. You will manage the email marketing executive and event marketing executive and will also have the support of Digital Production, Creative and the Sales team too. In fact, your working relationship with the Sales team will be important as you’ll be partnering with them in their efforts to deliver bespoke solutions for our clients

The ideal candidate will come from a B2B membership or subscription marketing background with solid experience in publishing and proven CRM development and management skills with a solid understanding of segmentation and acquisition marketing techniques. You will have experience of successfully developing audiences for brands which exist in print and online. To fit in with IRMS values your skillset will include strong communication, great organisational skills, attention to detail, proactivity and you will be results-orientated.

The salary is negotiable up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience and skills, plus an exciting benefits package.
