Boohoo is planning to open a new UK warehouse in April after reporting a 40% rise in revenues in the last four months of 2020.
The clothing retailer will use the new site to support its Nasty Gal, Karen Millen and Coast as well as the Oasis and Warehouse brands, which Boohoo acquired in June 2020.
After the transition takes place in the first half of 2021, the site will support 1000 jobs. The site will support Boohoo’s major distribution centre in Burnley, in Greater Manchester.
“The addition of UK3 will free up capacity within our existing network as we develop these facilities to support future expansion plans,” Boohoo said in a statement.
The company says that as of 31 August 2020, it had just over 17 million active customers across all its brands around the world.
