CollectPlus says it is now handling 7.7m transactions a year, with annual revenue now standing at £17.8m a year.
The update comes after shareholder PayPoint published its results this week.
CollectPlus says it is now working with more than 210 retail brands, 32% more than at the same time last year, to offer convenience returns, and Click&Collect solutions. Names that have joined in the last year include John Lewis, Asda, Clarks, Schuh and Hobbs.
The delivery company says its growth reflects a change in consumer behaviour.
“It has been a very strong twelve months for CollectPlus as a greater number of retailers and their customers have discovered the solution we provide in a changing retail environment,” said Neil Ashworth, chief executive of the company. “Helping to redesign and augment the customer experience, and making it as convenient as possible, is key to how CollectPlus operates as a partner to retail brands, something we are continuing to invest in.”
CollectPlus’ network of stores now stands at more than 5,250, with the effect that 88% of UK residents are now within a mile of its stores. Some 40% of CollectPlus’ customers send or drop off parcels outside traditional 9-5 opening hours.
CollectPlus is a joint venture between parcel delivery company Yodel and retail payment network PayPoint.
