RetailX Coronavirus Consumer Confidence Tracker – 22nd April

RetailX’s consumer resilience survey has been running for two months now. This week, we’ve introduced a new question to see how consumer attitudes would be affected by retailers informing them of plans to help staff and local communities through the crisis (roughly two-thirds would) and we’ve also repeated all of the earlier questions. (Previous weeks’ results can be seen here: 11th March, 25th March and 8th April.) As always, we’re available to answer questions and suggestions about our Covid-19 and other research – see the links below.

Demographics

All respondents were based in the UK at the time of the survey.

*Age groups: 18 – 24 (8.6%), 25 – 34 (15.4%), 35 – 44 (18.7%), 45 – 54 (18.7%), > 54 (38.6%).

Genders: female (54.8%), male (45.2%).
