Oasis, Coast and Warehouse adopt new point of sale technology to improve the customer experience

Oasis, Warehouse and Coast are using new point of sale technology to enable store staff to better understand their customers and give them a personalised experience.

The three fashion brands, which between them have 178 stores in the UK, are using Aptos Store to underpin store experiences that connect to the customer’s online journey, whether that takes in desktop or mobile.

The new system promises to give shoppers a seamless experience across channels, while enabling store staff to better understand shoppers coming into the store who may already have browsed or bought online. Aptos says the system supports improved checkouts and returns processing as well as improving store management and operations. It also says that because Aptos Store is operated in the cloud, the brands can implement the solution faster, streamline their technology infrastructure, and more easily add and support new store locations worldwide.

“As we undergo a technology transformation aimed at maximising our in-store efficiency and enhancing customer engagement, it was important to select a technology vendor that offered the most advanced omni-channel functionality combined with the benefits of deploying applications in the cloud,” said David Mold, IT and managed services director for Oasis, Warehouse and Coast.

“Coast already runs Aptos’ cloud-based Digital Commerce solution, which gave us extreme confidence in Aptos’ commitment to help us exceed customer expectations and drive profitable growth. We are excited about the next step in our Aptos relationship and extending Aptos Store across all three brands.”

Noel Goggin, Aptos chief executive and culture leader, said: “Oasis, Warehouse and Coast are fully committed to offering their customers a seamless omni-channel shopping experience that is modern, authentic and catered to their customers’ convenience and delight.

“With Aptos Store, these brands are empowered to amplify customer engagement, productivity and profitability while pursuing growth locally and abroad.”

Oasis is a Leading retailer in IRUK Top500 research, while Coast and Warehouse are Top250 retailers.
