In the last Internet Retailing newsletter, we wrote about click and collect and its fast-growing popularity. In today's newsletter we show that despite the proven effect of this and other technologies linking the high street to online, many retailers are still yet to use them. An interesting audit by Omnico uncovered which technologies linking the store to online were in use in stores on Oxford Street and Regent Street. And despite the hype it seems only 44% of a group of of retail stores likely to be very technology-forward group has yet to adopt click and collect. All other technologies studied lagged still further behind.

In today's newsletter we also report on the latest online retail figures, which show strong growth in September, on Vince Cable's announcement of support for SMEs looking to export online, and on retailers including Mothercare.
