In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter we report on how retailers of all sizes are evolving their service to meet the needs of their customers. For Sainsbury’s, it’s about giving customers choice and an easier and more convenient service, through new digital collection points in store, while it also doubles the number of Argos digital format stores in its branches.

For Holland & Barrett it’s about enabling shoppers to order in store from its wider range.

Moss Bros has invested in its website to boost conversion rates and order values.

And Whittard of Chelsea is selling tea to China as it expands its international sales.

It’s timely then, that in today’s newsletter we have an interview with B&Q omnichannel director Mike Durbridge in which he explains how having one digital platform is making the business easier to navigate for both customers and staff. Durbridge is speaking at IRC 2016, to be held on October 12 at the Hammersmith Novotel – today is the last day to claim a 20% discount on tickets, by entering the code AUTUMN20 at the checkout.

Finally, today’s guest comment comes from Neil Stewart of Salmon, in which he explains the agency’s new concept of Programmatic Commerce.
