From Ted Baker and Simply Be to IRC 2016: hearing from retailers about what works

This is an archived article - we have removed images and other assets but have left the text unchanged for your reference

In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter we’re reporting as retailers as diverse as N Brown Group, owner of Simply Be and Jacamo, and Ted Baker share the highlights of their ecommerce and multichannel strategies, Made.com explains how it is using visual search in its business.

At InternetRetailing we believe it’s always interesting to hear from other retailers about what they’re doing, and how that’s working out for them. At eDelivery Conference, a wide variety of attendees is doing that right now, learning in person from e–logistics professionals about what works and why, and about the industry’s direction of travel. InternetRetailing Conference (IRC 2016) follows tomorrow, and offers a chance to hear from a wide variety of retailers about their experiments, trials and triumphs. We’re delighted that a last-minute sponsorship deal means we’re able to offer some access-all-areas passes free of charge to retailers. If you fancy joining us, to hear from senior executives at multichannel retailers as diverse as M&S, Urban Outfitters, Halfords, Lego and Airbnb, and many, many more, then tweet @IR_conf to put your name in the hat. Lucky winners will receive an access code.

Today we also have guest analysis from Matt Owen of Oban Digital with his thoughts on what Brexit could mean for ecommerce retailers.

Today’s guest comment comes from Sören Meelby of Apptus, who makes the case for a bigger picture, beyond personalisation.
