International marketplace Fruugo is set to make shopping easier across the regions in which it operates with the addition of localised payments in the 41 different countries in which it has operations.

Thousands of sellers from all over the world use Fruugo’s technology to access a global audience for their products. Fruugo makes selling globally easy for sellers, as with a single Fruugo account they can reach shoppers in these 41 countries. Now, Adyen’s technology, has been integrated to the Fruugo platform to provide global acquiring capabilities and the local payment methods customers across the world want to use to pay. This amplifies Fruugo’s offering to both retailers and customers and boosts its retail presence globally thanks to bespoke, seamless payments experiences.

This experience is enhanced by offering local currencies and payment methods as the default, no matter where the customer is shopping.

Furthermore, Adyen’s single platform provides a powerful risk management solution for Fruugo, protecting against fraudulent transactions while increasing approval rates. This provides customers with a frictionless customer experience, and helps improve Fruugo’s bottom line by preventing genuine transactions from being unnecessarily declined.
