Home shopping group Shop Direct says its website, improved over many years, is now so popular with its customers that it’s doing away with its paper catalogue altogether. We were taken by the idea, which seems to illustrate the way we shop changing before our eyes: in response we’ve come up with our own list of one-time shopping staples that are set to go out of stock under the influence of digital.
