International orders grow ahead of Christmas for Mobile Fun

Mobile Fun said it had an “unprecedented” surge in international orders in the run up to Christmas.

Orders from overseas grew by 42.6% between December 1 and December 19 at the mobile accessories retailer, which now serves more than 30 countries through dedicated websites. It also has six international offices.

Sales have topped £1.1m each month from September onwards. International sales now account for almost half of all transactions.

Mohammed Hussain, managing director of Mobile Fun (pictured), said: “Tablet accessories are in particularly high demand in the run up to Christmas and across all our Mobile Fun websites we have already experienced a significant surge in orders for cases and screen protectors in particular.”

The company recently opened a new office in Birmingham’s Science Park Aston.
