In the run-up to this year’s InternetRetailing Conference (IRC 2017) and eDelivery Conference (EDC 2017) we’re focusing on different highlights of the annual event. This week we focus on the workshops.

Attendees at this year’s IRC 2017 can learn from companies who have led, delivered and assisted significant projects for globally-renowned retailers, brands and services. The workshops will take place in the early afternoon of the event on October 5 in London.

The hands-on, practical, training focused sessions will include a range of subjects from machine learning to payment innovation.

The list includes driving conversion with UX and engagement; conversion in mobile: payment innovation to boost growth and remove friction; machine-learning software: beyond the hype – how to buy it and apply it; real time recommender systems made easy; using offline and online data in retail Facebook marketing, and transforming operations and increasing supply chain visibility.

Workshops must be selected during registration for the event and are offered on a first-come first served basis. Find out more about this year’s workshop schedule here.

The InternetRetailing Conference, taking place in London on October 5, is the 12th annual edition of the event and this year focuses on energising retail. It runs alongside sister event the eDelivery Conference, and will be held at the Novotel, Hammersmith, London. One pass gives entry to both events with speakers also including Giles Delafeld, global CIO, Clarks; Bill Hopkins, executive director of operations and logistics, Trainline; and Regis Koenig, director of customer services, Darty.
