There’s been lots of talk around drone delivery, but visitors to Internet Retailing Expo (IRX) and eDelivery Expo (EDX) will be able to judge the much-hyped logistical technology for themselves when they see it in action at the event.
The special delivery will arrive at the conference on the morning of March 25. The Civil Aviation Authority-approved flight, operated by a qualified pilot, will fly around the NEC, overflying the lake, before making its outside halls one to five. Its cargo will be an Apple Watch, to be won by a visitor to IRX and EDX, which comes courtesy of Scurri, our partner on this enterprise.
