Ahead of this year’s InternetRetailing Expo (IRX 2016) we’re running a series of previews focusing on highlights of the two-day event, from the conferences to interviews with key retail speakers, and beyond. Today our focus is the Jiangsu Pavilion, where leading technology companies from China will exhibit.

Ten leading technology and services companies from China are among the vendors showcasing their wares at this year’s Internet Retailing Expo (IRX 2016).

Online business support provider E-commerce Wuxi Sung Park,Jiangsu Hongkun Supply Chain Management Co Ltd and import and export business process outsourcing company Jiangsu Guotai Smart Enterprise Service Co Ltd are among the businesses that will appear in the Jiangsu Pavilion at the expo, which takes place on April 27 and 28.

Also taking part is ecommerce services company Taojin Information Technology Jiangsu Co Ltd.

A number of manufacturers and retailers are also appearing. Suzhou Youi Foods Co Ltd is a manufacturer of bean and nut-based foods which is a leading exporter of wasabi peas to the United States, Donghai County Tianmai International Trade Co Ltd makes a wide range of crystal products while Huaian Vital Commodity Co Ltd makes products from hand warmers to hot water bottles.

Their appearance comes as the Chinese ecommerce market continues to expand. The country has almost 1.4bn potential customers, and online sales are expected to reach £240bn this year, 27.9% more than last year.

The suppliers in the pavilion hail from Jiangsu, an east coast Chinese province that lies north of Shanghai and whose capital is the city of Nanjing. Between them, they boast the expertise to help retailers increase awareness of their brand in China, help them avoid language problems, and increase their own knowledge of issues from Chinese intellectual property rules through to logistics management.
