Ahead of this year’s Internet Retailing Expo (IRX 2016), we’re focusing on the highlights of the event in a series of previews looking at everything from the conferences to interviews with retailers speaking in the conferences. Today we’re focusing on the workshops and clinics that run alongside the expo.
Retailers attending IRX 2016 can get hands-on practical advice to put to work in their own businesses through a series of workshops and clinics that runs alongside the conferences and exhibitions over the two days of the event.
Suppliers hosting workshops bring a hands-on approach, advising participants on best practice ways to use their solution day-to-day, while specialist advisors are offering one-on-one clinic sessions with advice on how to approach common retail challenges.
The workshops
On day one, April 27, retailers taking part in the workshop programme can learn strategies for using email to target shoppers who abandon their basket in the Bronto workshop, Revenue Rescue: saving sales when shoppers stray at 11am, find out more about using the ecommerce platform in Shopware’s Be the rolling stone workshop at 11am, learn about social shopping from anicca at 2pm, and explore approaches to eBay in Codisto’s Taming eBay in 2016 at 3pm.
Bronto repeats its workshop the following day, April 28, at 11am, when alternatives include A story of untapped potential, in which PRWD looks at growth strategies, and virtual logistics’ look at how generation M is revolutionising omnichannel retail.
The clinics
Over the course of the two days, visitors to IRX can pre-book 30 minute clinic sessions with expert solution providers.
