Online sports merchandise retailer Kitbag.com has signed a new ecommerce partner as it looks to grow turnover.

Kitbag, which sells football and sports merchandise as well as operating e-shops for clubs including Manchester United and Real Madrid, has opted for the Channel Advisor platform which enables retailers to sell through online channels and marketplaces from Amazon to Google and comparison shopping engine Shopzilla.

Tom Fothergill, head of Kitbag.com, said: “ChannelAdvisor offers one simple platform that enables us to effectively manage all channels. The platform will provide us access to real-time performance data, will create IT efficiencies to allow staff to be more strategic and will help us to increase return on investment from our online marketing spend.”

James Scott, managing director of ChannelAdvisor, said: “We’re honoured that Kitbag has trusted us with the future direction of its ecommerce program, and we are confident that our expert solutions will bring the company excellent results. We look forward to working with Kitbag on a pan-European basis to grow turnover from online sales channels.”
