Gett Delivery, an on-demand delivery service from London Black Cab app Gett, has expanded its reach into Zone 3, allowing more customers to have goods collected and delivered within the capital.
The service was initially launched in February 2016 and has already delivered tens of thousands of packages since launch. The service is available from 9am to 11pm, 7 days a week with prices starting from £4.95 per journey. Once a courier has been ordered, users can track their courier’s time of arrival, and are able to view the drivers en-route to the recipient, ensuring the parcel’s delivery. Gett Delivery also provides the option to pre-book a courier for future bookings.
The service is available to anyone via the app – whether it’s private businesses, retailers or restaurants and promises pickup in less than ten minutes and delivery within the hour but is claimed to be up to 30% cheaper than other courier services.
Matteo de Renzi, UK CEO of Gett, said “Since launching Gett Delivery last year, we’ve now hundreds of couriers on the streets of London and made parcel delivery a seamless, fully on-demand service. After a successful launch, we’re pleased to extend our service to Zone 3, providing a quick service to businesses and individuals in areas less serviced than central London. With Gett Delivery continuing to grow we look forward to increasing our coverage even more in the future.”
