William Hill places 2390 of its bricks and mortar locations on the Digital High Street
William Hill, the UK’s largest bookmaker, has placed all its 2390 high street retail location on the NearMe location based mobile application, confirming William Hill’s continued adoption of mobile technology to support the increasing demand from its customers for convenient access to betting, casino and bingo services. Adding a location based marketing service to the portfolio will drive footfall and provide timely information around the network of traditional high street betting shops.

Fiona Stevenson, Head of Mobile Marketing for William Hill explains: ‘’We are now a strong multi-channel business, and The NearMe services provides a key opportunity to provide invaluable information to our existing loyal customers, in addition to attracting new mobile savvy clients into our network of locations’’.

Today sees the launch of the service with all William Hill branches now listed on the iPhone App and some very special promotional offers available over the next few weeks.

Neil Marshall, Group Sales Director at NearMe adds: “The timing of this partnership with William Hill is perfect with so many major sporting events taking place over the summer months. The linking of traditional and digital gaming in this way adds a unique new service to the Digital High Street”.

Customers accessing William Hill on NearMe will be presented with the six nearest branches to their location. With exact distance, full address, telephone number and links to the William Hill website. Mapping and directions along with automated posting of activity on social networks is also included.

The launch campaign starting today will also included uniquely coded coupons that could see customers receiving inaugural offers to bet on the FA Cup, Champions League and the Scottish Cup.
