Online growth amid supermarket price war

In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter, we’ve news of growing sales – at least online. We report on a 17% uplift to internet sales in May, according to the BRC, though the organisation fears that the ongoing supermarket price war is hitting overall retail sales. Ted Baker also reports fast ecommerce growth today, while retailers from Sainsbury’s to la prairie are also developing their internet strategies.

Today we also report on Rakuten Marketing’s tips for etailers targeting Father’s Day shoppers, and on local letterbox as it strikes a logistics partnership.
