Paul Smith opts for Manhattan Associates technology
Paul Smith says it will be better able to see where its products are available to sell using a new supply chain commerce platform. The upmarket fashion company has opted for a new Manhattan Associates platform that it says will enable it to improve the service that it offers both to its customers and to stores around the world at a time when it plans to expand further.
"With the continued business growth we expect in the years ahead, the selection of a market-leading supply chain commerce solution had become a prerequisite for our business strategy," said James Horsley, finance director at Paul Smith . "Manhattan’s technology will give us better visibility of inventory and will help us ensure product availability for our customers. It will also give us flexible fulfilment options and drive efficiency enhancements across our UK and global distribution operations. All of this is key to our long term business success.”
The new system will replace legacy supply chain systems at the fashion business, which was founded in 1970 and now trades on six continents.
Craig Sears-Black, UK managing director at Manhattan Associates , said: "Our platform will create exceptional value: it will help Paul Smith deliver on its customer service, distribution efficiency and business growth goals. We look forward to playing an important role in the next phase of the Paul Smith global success story.”
