TDC Global takes place at end of February with InternetRetailing as media partner

Logistics strategy is on the agenda for TDC Global, the upcoming conference focusing on retail delivery.

Featuring InternetRetailing as media partner, the event will take place on 26 February at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. The one-day conference at 7.30AM and closes at 7.00PM.

The day will open with a keynote from the MetaPack founder Patrick Wall, introducing the main themes of the conference and the challenges currently facing delivery.

This plenary session will also include presentations on trends from Howard Saunders, retail futurist at Twenty-Second and Fifth; Martijn Bertisen, UK sales director, consumer retail and technology at Google and Xuan Jin, lead solutions architect, Alibaba Cloud Global

at Alibaba.

From 11AM onwards the programme divides into separate streams. The first, themed around ecommerce and customer experience, will feature retailers such as Holland and Barrett and John Lewis.

The second stream focuses on logistics and carriers, with DPD, Hermes, CollectPlus and eBay on the agenda, while the solutions theatre includes P2P Mail, a subsidiary of FedEx.

The final stream is focused on technology. This stream will showcase speakers such as Toby Knight of Amazon Web Services, Neil MacGowan of New Relic, Steve Barrett of PagerDuty, Oliver Ogg of Agipee, Google Cloud and Jeremy Mitchell of Data Mettle. Sessions include ‘Don’t let your modern software fail to deliver!’ and ‘Accelerating your business with APIs’ which will provide a guide on how to use APIs to leverage efficiencies of scale in your business. 

The conference is expected to attract 1400 delegates from over, with 70% being retailers or brands.
