In today’s Internet Retailing newsletter we report on multichannel strategies and how they’re delivering for the retailers who use them. We report on Asda’s plans to turn over £3bn from ecommerce alone, with important support from its stores, on how Burberry is using digital and the store together to grow its global sales, and on Sainsbury’s progress in its multichannel strategy.
We also consider the future of ecommerce, with a look at the potential for the smart glasses market – and what it will mean for retailers, we have the latest online sales figures from IMRG, and our guest comment today comes from Micke Paqvalén, chief executive and founder of Kiosked, who considers the role of interactive and image-led content in the buying process.Read on for news of two job opportunities at Internet Retailing, for access to our conference videos, and news of our Expo next March.
