Post Office launches cross platform app

The Post Office has launched its first cross-platform mobile application that allows customers to find their nearest Post Office branch, identify a postcode or address and perform currency conversions using Post Office Travel Money exchange rates.

Created by leading app development agency Grapple Mobile, the is the latest step in the Post Office’s drive to offer customers greater choice and flexibility in accessing Post Office services.

A spokesman for the Post Office told us: ““This latest addition to our current portfolio of digital services enables customers to perform selected simple functions, quickly and easily, whilst on-the-move.”

Alistair Crane, CEO Grapple Mobile added: “Mobile apps offer a fantastic opportunity for key utilities and service providers like the Post Office to create a strong line of communication with their customers and to offer quicker and easier ways to perform simple tasks wherever they are, from their mobile handsets.”
