Boden has extended choice and convenience for customers returning goods by signing up to the Collect+ network of 3,500 local shops, that all operate within the PayPoint network. In a trial Boden
customers were offered the service via a Collect+ leaflet enclosed in their parcel. “The convenience of return locations near to home, work or travel, that are open early until late, is a particular benefit to our customers,” said a Boden spokesman.
Customers simply text their postcode, and then receive a reply giving the address of their nearest store and also a link for smartphone users to search for more. Returns have the potential to be handled more quickly through Collect+ than the postal service. The retailer said the service already accounts for 20% of all Boden’s free returns volume.
