Haven Holidays sees bookings up by a fifth after deploying personalisation
Haven Holidays  reports bookings boosted by a fifth thanks to the use of new website personalisation technology.

The holiday company measured the number of bookings made when users experienced personalised website content, implemented using RedEye’s just-launched website personalisation tool, and those made when users did not. It found 20% higher bookings among those users whose experience was personalised.

Alison Dunn, head of ecommerce at Haven Caravan Parks, said: “Website personalisation is the future. We’ve been running highly personalised and targeted email campaigns with RedEye for years and we were delighted when they provided us with the opportunity to trial the new personalisation technology to provide highly targeted and relevant information to our customers on our website.

“Our personalised email trigger campaigns have seen great results such as a 54% open rate and 53% click-through rate from a personalised abandoned booking campaign.

“Now RedEye’s website personalisation solution has helped us prove how showcasing relevant content on the website improves conversion. It’s fantastic that we are now able to target customers as soon as they enter our site with relevant content and while it is early days we are thrilled by the results.”

Mark Patron, chief executive at RedEye, said: “Digital marketing has matured to the point that website personalisation can now be a reality for all, not just Amazon. It is the next step in one-to-one marketing enabling online marketers to grow their sales by 15% to 30%. This new development makes the persaonlistion available to our email clients also accessible to their websites.
