Report Summary

Download the first RetailDNA Performance Value Chain 2024 report. This new format report from the RetailX team uses value chain-based analysis to explore the retail strategies and tools that retailers, brands and marketplaces use to grow their businesses when selling to Europe.

These research findings are based on the RetailX Europe Top1000 2024 listing, published earlier this year, and assessed through the Customer Value Chain, the Product Value Chain, the Operations Value Chain and the Capital Value Chain.

In this part, we focus on the Capital Value Chain, which explores how retail businesses use the gains they made in the customer, product and operations value chains to reinvest in their businesses and expand their scale and reach. It explores how retailers grow their reach through store networks, and, digitally, through mobile apps and websites. This report explains how that happens, allowing companies to benchmark themselves against others.

RetailDNA research findings in each value chain are set out in this report through analysis, graphics, a list of 50 value chain leaders and company profiles highlighting the best practices that are employed by market leaders.
