In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter we’re detecting clear signs that retailers of all kinds are winning in their battle to come to terms with changing customer behaviour, thanks to the rise of online. Bloomsbury chief executive Nigel Newton perhaps sums up this feeling in our story on the publishing company’s growing e-book sales, when he says the company is ‘grasping the opportunities of the digital revolution.’ That’s also evident in report on Game’s return to the stockmarket, and M&S’s news today of fast-growing multichannel sales.
Today we also tell how Boots is putting the emphasis on omnichannel and Dr Marten, beloved of rebels everywhere, has a new omnichannel site.
Finally, we celebrate some of the most successful retailers in the UK in our coverage of the Internet Retailing Awards where today we focus on the Innovation Award.Click to read more on our current events, including our third annual Internet Retailing Awards.
