SubscriptionX podcast: AI can “get you places where you may not have gone”

The third episode of the latest SubscriptionX podcast series sees James Hirst, founder and director of The Intelligent Brief, visit the booth to discuss how machine learning and AI can streamline the early stages of creative brainstorming, as well as increasing efficiency in the creative process.

Recorded live during the RetailX Event’s Spring Festival 2024, the episode has Hirst and the team covering why now is the right time for retailers – of all sizes – to be thinking about AI, but also why people will still be at the heart of the process.

Hirst explains: “You can’t rely on technology alone. If you’re just relying on technology alone to write copy – then you’re just racing to average. It’s about having a platform to enhance that strategic creativity and get you to places where you may not have gone to.”

Produced in association with Chargebee, the limited series will discuss how retailers are turning to the subscription business model; the importance of the right technology; how AI will impact creativity; and building a community through customer experience and collaboration. 

Episodes will be released each Tuesday, with future discussions on how partnerships can be beneficial in reaching new customer bases, as well as helping with growing marketing costs.

The series was recorded live at SubscriptionX in May 2024, it will return as part of the Autumn Festival 2024.
