In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter we have tales of retail brands moving forward through innovation and investment in order to reap the rewards that multichannel brings. We have news of John Lewis , as it extends its reach still further through an ever widening click and collect network that far outpaces its physical store presence. We have news of Superdrug , as it replatforms in its fiftieth anniversary year, of Groupon’s journey towards becoming an online marketplace, and of Monsoon Accessorize as it launches its first digital campaigns.

The point of all this innovation is spelt out in stories from White Stuff , which has seen online sales rise by 47% thanks to investment, and from IMRG, which tracks a 14% rise in ecommerce sales across the sector in July.
