Sainsbury’s builds on digital rewards success with Christmas Double Up event via online and app

Sainsbury's increases digital loyalty with Double Up Nectar event online and app

Sainsbury’s is using its Nectar app and website to drive early Christmas shopping, offering to double up points for spending on early bird shopping.

 

The offer – which last year saw hundreds of thousands of customers take part – allows customers to double the value of their Nectar points to spend in store at Sainsbury’s.

 

Following on from the success of the offer moving to digital in 2019, customers once again don’t need to print out any vouchers and can instantly obtain their voucher by heading to the Nectar app between 11th– 17th November. Alternatively, customers can order vouchers online between 28th October – 3rd November.

 

Double Up will enable customers to get ahead on their festive favourites whilst making their Nectar points go further in just a few taps, with vouchers redeemable in store across ten categories in store, including Tu clothing, Toys, Electricals, Fragrance and more*.

 

Jimmy Galloway, Loyalty Marketing Manager at Sainsbury’s says: “The Double Up event has proved to be immensely popular in the past and we know that this year more than ever our customers are looking to make their money go further and find little ways to help with the cost of Christmas. We are delighted to announce that it is returning again this year and are glad to help out those customers who are looking to get a head start on their shopping.”
