UGG Australia has launched an affiliate campaign, using Affiliate Window.

The strategy, which is being managed by ecommerce agency Biglight, will focus on increasing brand awareness of the luxury brand, which was first used by Australian surfers in Byron Bay. It aims to attract more shoppers to its site by targeting website publishers including content sites, bloggers and fashion portals.

Jane Gleadall, co-founder of Biglight said: “We are extremely proud to be working with such a fantastic footwear brand. We have built up a strong reputation in the fashion ecommerce sector based upon on our customers’ successes and our relationships with both major and niche publishers, so we are looking forward to ensuring UGG Australia reaps the considerable rewards of performance-based marketing.”

Rachael Humphreys, head of agency account management for Affiliate Window, said: “Working alongside Biglight we are delighted to welcome UGG to the network after the successful launch of sister brands Simple Shoes and Teva earlier this year. We look forward to working together to recruit new, targeted publishers for the brand and continuing our long tradition of success in the retail sector.”
