Waitrose is enabling customers to book their Christmas food delivery slot now, but letting them wait until midday on the day before delivery to confirm exactly what items they require.
“Christmas may seem a long way off, but as the day approaches things can get a little hectic. So why not use WaitroseDeliver to plan ahead?,” the supermarket explained in an email to customers.
To reserve a delivery slot, customers need to visit waitrose.com/deliver and place items into their trolley to a minimum value of £50. They can then select their preferred delivery time slot but have until midday on the day before their delivery to amend their order to include the items they actually need.
