InternetRetailing and eDelivery Expo is the UK’s biggest multichannel event which returns to Birmingham on the 5th and 6th April this week. Visitors attending the show will not only get a first-hand look latest research, innovations and technology but will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in it.
Highlights
Key speakers will be on throughout both days and it’s an opportunity to hear from top retailers and large-scale brands such as Sainsbury’s, Google, Harrods, John Lewis, Next and much more. To provide a holistic view of commerce, each discussion will focus on a specific area. For example, Simon Finch, Harrods will focus on the fulfillment side and be addressing how the customer-facing supply chain is both benefitting consumers and retailers and how logistical challenges can be turned into commercial opportunities. Neil Ellul, the Customer Journey Manager at Next, will be discussing how digital disruption is redefining customer expectations. For more info on our key speakers take a look at our show guide.
Adding to IRX and EDX’s comprehensive educational program this year, both InternetRetailing and eDelivery will have 20 workshops and provide hands-on, practical training. These will cover an array of topics including building ‘best-in-class’ supply chain by Profulfilment, ChannelAdvisor and DHL. ‘Increasing new business and secure repeat business’ by Webmarketing Booster. Analysing marketing solutions by Smarter Ecommerce and reviewing the personalisation of digital experiences by Optimizely. Delegates can also receive a complimentary consultation of one-on-one 30-minute clinics where attendees will be able to address their own personal ecommerce doubts and questions.
Showcased at the heart of the expo there is the Innovation Hub – a dedicated space where emerging technologies will be presented. Truestart Europe’s only independent retail and consumer accelerator and investment fund, together with 8 start-ups such as Milkman, PixonEye, Hullabalook, Photospire and Streetdots will be presenting the new technological solutions and platforms that are disrupting the retailing space.
New to this year’s show, IRX and EDX will also host an official party on the night of the 5th April at The Vox. This is a chance to unwind after a busy day and to network with other professionals. We would like to celebrate the continued success of the most dynamic online retail sector whilst toasting to a bright future and hope you are able to join us.
