Wincanton is to provide online furniture retailer Snug with efulfilment, stock management and final-mile home delivery services following the signing of a new three-and-a-half-year contract.
The company will offer an end-to-end supply chain for Snug, which launched its sofa in a box concept in 2019. Wincanton’s services will include the management of inbound container stock; inventory management and stockholding; pick and despatch of customer orders and the handling and processing of returns.
Large products will be delivered via Wincanton’s two-person home delivery network.
Snug will also become one of the principal customers at Wincanton’s new automated efulfilment facility in Rockingham, Northamptonshire.

Wincanton has a number of homewares companies as clients, with contract wins for Dobbies, Dwell, The White Company and Sofa Club in the past year.
