White Stuff has launched its first local language website, in Germany.

The transactional site, whitestuff.de, launched on May 24 and has been designed to cater to the preferences of German shoppers. Deliveries are from the UK and arrive in two days, while returns are sent to a German-based facility. Free standard delivery is available for orders over €50 and free express delivery for orders over €150.

It is managed in-house and staffed by four German-speaking customer service staff, and will be promoted through a multichannel marketing campaign.

“As a multichannel player with two standalone shops in Germany already and a roster of further shops opening in the next 12 months, a German website seemed like a natural progression enabling us to market products locally, in the native language and currency.”

Casual fashion retailer White Stuff has long targeted Northern Europe as it moves beyond its UK domestic market.
