Same-day delivery specialist CitySprint wants to recruit an additional 550 couriers across the UK, primarily focused on those with small and large vans.
It follows continued uplift in demand. The company already has a network of more than 3,500 vans, bikes and cars but has a particular need for additional couriers in cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Reading and Nottingham.
Mark Footman, chief operating officer at CitySprint, said: “As a business, we have enjoyed another year of considerable growth — winning new clients and, most recently, acquiring Manchester-based same-day courier company, EcoSpeed.”
“We are committed to providing our 14,000+ clients with the best possible service all year round, which is why we’re bolstering the fleet to ensure we are prepared to face anything that comes our way over the busy summer months.”
CitySprint is also looking to employ drivers for its electric vehicles as the company continues to expand its electric van fleet to over 200 vehicles by the end of 2023.
