JoJo Maman Bébé has relaunched its secondhand clothing initiative in a clothing takeback partnership with Thelittleloop, which claims to be the UK’s leading pre-loved clothing shop for kids.

“JoJo Reloved is back in a new way, and this time it’s here to stay,” the company says to customers on its website.

Jojo Reloved had previously run as an instore donation scheme last August. During the month-long scheme customers could donate preloved clothes from any brand and receive a £5 voucher to be used instore.

The new version of the JoJo Reloved service has launched today. Customers use an online trade-in tool to see how much they can earn for their secondhand JoJo items, receiving 30% of what Thelittleloop can sell the clothes for. Alternatively, they can send clothes in a clear-out bag, which can be collected from store, and receive 25% of the final selling price. The price is calculated by rating the condition of such items.

Customers bag up their pre-loved clean JoJo clothes and send them off to Thelittleloop. The company also accepts clean, wearable children’s clothes from other brands. Postage is free when customers trade in 10 or more items or when they use a clear-out bag.

Customer credit

Once items have been assessed by Thelittleloop’s team to rate their condition and selling price customers will automatically receive their credit before sale. The credit can then be exchanged for a voucher to shop with JoJo or other partner brands. If an item can’t be resold, then it will be recycled.

Charlotte Morley, thelittleloop founder and CEO, said: “We know from experience that JoJo clothing is beautifully designed and made to last. And so helping JoJo to offer true circularity to their customers, in a way which reduces the burden of pre-loved reselling on parents, feels like a natural step.”

In addition to the permanent launch of JoJo Reloved, JoJo Maman Bébé this week also launched JoJo Junior, an extended range of sizing to cater for children up to 9 years of age. The company’s CEO, Mark Wright, said that extended sizing had been one of the most frequent requests from customers.
