Fashion retailer ASOS is extending the rollout of its same-day delivery option ASOS Instant to Birmingham. The retailer had previously launched the service in London last October and extended it to Leeds and Manchester the following month.
In January the company said its same-day delivery options had already led to an increase in sales in the UK. The service costs £9.95 and allows orders to selected postcodes ordered before 12pm Monday to Friday to be delivered between 6-10pm on the same day.
The retailer is partnering with On the dot on the rollout. Using On the dot’s machine learning algorithms, its 5,000-strong fleet of couriers and an open API to display timeslots, ASOS customers are able to select delivery times to suit them.
“We’re excited to be extending the reach of ASOS Instant to Birmingham following its successful launch in other UK cities,” said Matt Rogers, delivery solutions and returns director for ASOS. “It shows our commitment to exploring delivery options that provide convenience and choice for ASOS customers,” he said.
