Back to business as usual for P2P Mailing after fire destroyed warehouse

DeliveryX

P2P Mailing has said it’s back to business as usual after a fire hit its Basildon facility on 20 August, destroying the company’s 5,000 sq m warehouse.
It said that thanks to contingency plans it had put in place orders are now being processed as normal and all work is up to date whilst all back-office functions are also once again up and running.

The company has also found new premises situated within two and a half miles of its previous Basildon facility.

In a statement the company extended its thanks to those who had helped it cope in the aftermath of the blaze. “P2P Mailing would like to acknowledge all the hard work carried out by its staff, from the warehouse operational team to the senior management team as well as the support from the wider delivery group companies and our vendor partners, and thank them for making this recovery as swift and seamless as possible,” the company said.
