Card Factory has introduced its first nationwide click & collect service, following a successful pilot covering 87 stores.
Shoppers can have their online orders delivered to one of the greetings card retailer’s 1,000 locations, with no processing free for orders over £10. Customers will have a 10 day window to collect their orders.
A range of products including personalised cards and a select range of personalised gifts will be available. The company’s online store locator tool will enable customers to specify the store from which they want to collect their order.
“Our digital data has shown that more people want to access the high-quality, affordable range of gifts and cards we provide with ease,” said Sam Davies, digital director, Card Factory.
“The introduction of our click-and-collect service and ordering products at the click of a few buttons offer flexibility, more choice and adds an extra layer of convenience to shopping with us.”
Davies added that he hopes the card retailer will “offer a next-day collection option for those last-minute gifts” in the future.
This news follows the company’s reported revenue of £198m in the six months to July 31 2022 – 69.4% ahead of the same time last year.
