Furniture retailer Dreams has announced Daniel West as its first chief information officer heading up its technology department.
West brings over three decades worth of experience, holding positions across Lastminute.com, New Look and Asos.
In his new position, he will be responsible for running the company’s technology department, leveraging investment to create business value and delivering digital customer experience to help facilitate Dreams’ growth strategy.

“I’m delighted to join Dreams at this exciting time in this newly created role and to be given the opportunity to create a true omnichannel experience, leveraging data and information to help create the best journey for our customers,” he said.
Alongside West, the retailer also promoted Petra Kasperova to the position of chief financial officer, with effect from June.
In her new position, Kasperova will be responsible for the company’s finances and insights, alongside its risk, health and safety teams.
She succeeds current CFO Kim Zaheer, who leaves his position after 15 years.
Kasperova added: “I’m incredibly excited to have been promoted to CFO and asked to become part of the Dreams senior leadership team.
“Having been at Dreams for 19 years now, I look forward to this new chapter leading the business’ finance team as we continue to drive sustainable profitable growth and deliver our long-term strategy.”
