Fashion giants Farfetch and PrettyLittleThing boost logistics ahead of peak

DeliveryX

Fashion retailers PrettyLittleThing and Farfetch have both invested in their logistics propositions as they seek to support business expansion.
PrettyLittleThing has relocated to a new warehouse in Sheffield ahead of this year’s peak season.

The 600,000 square foot site features sortation capabilities from BS Handling Systems, offering the retailer additional capacity.

It offers a 60m long carousel conveyor, six feeder lanes and 22m of powered belt conveyors.

Meanwhile, working with Sorted, Farfetch has added the option to quickly integrate new carriers through a new software platform.

SortedPRO will allow single integration of carrier and shipping software. Sorted’s fulfilment centres will also be used as part of Farfetch’s network.

Stuart Hill, VP Logistics, at Farfetch, said: “As Farfetch continues to grow globally, it is important for us to work with a partner who is able to offer us a world-class, innovative, and globally scalable platform to handle our deliveries. Sorted is able to meet that demand for us, and we’re excited to be working with them.”
