Gett Delivery, which provides an on-demand courier service with guaranteed one-hour delivery, is expanding. The courier arm of the mobile app, Gett Taxi, is to expand into the rest of London as well as into Birmingham, Coventry, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Leeds and has appointed a former head of AmazonFresh corporate operations to spearhead the expansion.
Malte Poppensieker has been appointed as head of UK delivery in order to manage the rollout. Whilst at AmazonFresh he was responsible for looking after the corporate operations team, leading the official launch across the UK and four other EU countries. Gett Delivery provides an on-demand courier service, with a guaranteed 1-hour delivery offering.
