H&M Spain has introduced a service allowing customers to buy products in store and have them delivered to their homes.
Available from seven stores in Madrid and Barcelona, the service allows customers to get either express delivery within two hours or a choice of two-hour slots on the day of purchase. It operates Monday to Saturday between 10AM and 9PM within a distance of 10km of the chosen stores.
Members of the retailer’s loyalty programme will get the service free on purchases worth over €60, whereas a charge of up to €30 depending on distance will be applied for non-members or for purchases below this amount.
H&M has collaborated with shipping company Paack on the service, offering tracking and notifications as the item is transported.
The service aims to combine some of the benefits of both online and in-store shopping: customers will be able to sample and try on items but without having to carry them around.
