The second episode of the latest SubscriptionX podcast series sees Gemma Mills, CEO & founder of Jomo Club, join the team in the booth to discuss the inspiration behind her subscription business; why events, and different seasons, are a key consideration when scaling a subscription company; and how to build a club of shoppers.
Recorded live during the RetailX Event’s Spring Festival 2024, the second episode has Mills and the team covering customer retention and the temptation to offer discounts, she explained the route they take.
“We offer discounts, but we really think transparency, visibility and communication with customers is so important in making sure that we’re doing everything we possibly can to retain them. And if we are losing customers, find out why that is and actually jump on that straight away.”
