Danish retailer JYSK has taken on 35000 square metres of new warehouse space in Poland.
The site is located at logistics giant P3’s Piotrków Park location, with JYSK working with agency M4 Real Estate to find the site. JYSK uses the rental space for buffer storage.

The new space brings JYSK’s total holding at the park to over 80,000 square metres and its total space in central Poland to 250,000.

Built in 2008, Piotrków Park is located at a junction in the Polish motorway providing direct road connections to Warsaw, Wroclaw and Katowice.

Paweł Waler, director of the JYSK distribution centre in Radomsko, said: “Together with the dynamic development of our company in the Central Europe region, we have once again decided to increase the space occupied in the P3 Piotrków park.

“Consolidated warehouses in one place significantly streamline operations related to the storage and distribution of our products.”

Piotr Bzowski, leasing and development director at P3 Logistic Parks, said: “We are happy that large retail chains, such as JYSK, are eager to develop in our parks. It is for us the expression of trust and confirmation of the excellent location of the P3 Piotrków park on the Polish map.

“Due to the growing interest, we are planning next stages of its expansion. Within the limits of the P3 Piotrków park, we have land allowing for the development of an additional 230,000 m2 of modern space, under which, inter alia, a building with almost 100,000 m2 “may be built.”
