According to market researcher Keynote Systems, the online reservation system of Sixt, Germany’s largest car rental company, provides the best service to its customers. Keynote Competitive Research, a branch of Keynote Systems, evaluated the quality of several industries across Europe. The research evaluated remarks 1500 customers left at the sites of car rental companies.
Sixt earned best marks in all categories -quality & reputation, customer support, and car offerings. Europcar came in second in all three categories, followed by Avis and Hertz.
In using the sites of the car rental companies the features the customers valued most highly, were the usability and performance of the reservation process and the quality of customer support. The image of the provider is apparently more important to satisfied customers than the broad selection of cars offered.
