Fashion brand Kookai has launched its French site, three months after starting the European roll out of its new site in the UK.
The site was designed to be easily rolled out across different European territories, and is now live in France with its new look.
Richard Jackson, director at Session Digital, which developed the site, said: “From a technical point of view, the launch process was very similar to the UK. We started by replicating the UK site and then our design team worked with the Kookai marketing team in France to adjust the workflow and branding for the French audience. On the back end of the site, our developers updated the integration points for the French territory: the payment gateways, address lookup, catalogue, inventory, loyalty and shipping systems.
“We worked in an agile process, releasing new versions of the site to Kookai every two weeks so that they could trial it and make changes along the way. The site was tested both by our internal testing team and through User Acceptance Testing with Kookai. Some final adjustments were made, and then the final site was released into production.”
Kookai was established in Paris in 1983 and now has a presence in 40 countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.
