Nine out of 10 millennials call for more delivery control: infographic

Giving shoppers more control of the delivery of their purchases will lead to repeat business, according to 90% of 18-24 year olds recently surveyed by pioneering delivery platform Shutl.
As illustrated in the infographic below, twice as many (60%) 18-24 year olds have “higher expectations of retailer delivery performance” than those aged 45-54 (33%).

Another interesting point of comparison is that people living in urban areas are more impatient than those living in the countryside. But the underlying message from the research, which we have covered in more detail here, is that if customers won’t shop with retailers who are unable to give them what they want, and that applies to delivery as well as a choice of well-priced products.
